Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Chemical Engineer

to lead the formulation, production, and quality assurance of our chemical products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and testing formulations, supervising production batches, maintaining quality standards, and supporting R&D initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovation across product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare samples and pilot batches for product development, testing, and client approval. Oversee the formulation and production of coatings, adhesives, and resins for sports flooring applications. Supervise batch manufacturing and in-process quality control to ensure consistency and compliance with specifications. Conduct sampling, testing, and validation of raw materials and finished products. Perform analytical and visual testing to confirm product specifications and quality standards. Investigate and document product or process issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with Purchasing and Inventory teams to ensure timely material availability and usage tracking. Report and resolve any production or quality deviations promptly. Support R&D activities, including new product development and process optimization. Perform color matching, formulation adjustments, and product standardization as required. Monitor and report production and quality-related KPIs, including efficiency, yield, and output. Ensure compliance with safety standards, waste management protocols, and chemical handling procedures. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory and production equipment. Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and recommend process improvements. Participate in planning and optimizing manufacturing layouts and production workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree in Chemistry or Process Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 3-4 years in chemical manufacturing, preferably in coatings, adhesives, polyurethane, water-based paints, or polymer-based products--ideally related to sports flooring applications.

Technical Skills:

Strong expertise in chemical formulation, testing, and quality control. Hands-on experience with R&D, color matching, and maintaining batch consistency. Familiarity with laboratory instruments and analytical testing methods.

Other Requirements:

Knowledge of UAE chemical safety and industrial hygiene standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to travel or work across multiple locations (UAE & India). Strong attention to detail and ability to perform in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
