Job Summary:

The

Chemical Engineer

will oversee the

production, formulation, and quality control of chemical products

, with a focus on

paints, coatings, adhesives, and polymer-based flooring materials

. The role involves preparing samples, developing new formulations, supervising batch production, performing testing of raw materials and finished products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain

consistent quality and innovation

.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare samples and pilot batches for

new product development and quality verification

. Manage the production and formulation of

chemical products

, including

coatings, adhesives, paints, and resins for sports flooring and wellness applications

. Supervise batch production and

in-process testing

to ensure

consistent quality and adherence to specifications

. Conduct sampling, testing, and approval of

incoming raw materials and in-process materials

. Ensure product specifications meet

quality standards

through

visual and analytical testing

. Investigate and document

customer complaints

, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with

Purchasing and Inventory Teams

to ensure timely material availability. Report and resolve any

quality deviations or production issues

promptly. Support

R&D initiatives

for new product development and continuous improvement of existing products. Perform

color matching, formulation optimization, and product standardization

. Maintain and report

KPI metrics

related to production efficiency, quality, and output. Ensure

safety, compliance, and proper chemical handling procedures

are followed. Calibrate and maintain

laboratory and production instruments

. Analyze production and testing data to identify trends and recommend process improvements. Plan

manufacturing layout and workflow optimization

for efficient production.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Process Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 3-4 years in

chemical manufacturing

, preferably in the

paint, coatings, adhesives, polyurethane, water-based paints, flooring resins, or polymer-based products

, ideally for sports flooring or related applications.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in

chemical formulation, sample preparation, testing, and quality control

. Hands-on experience in

R&D, color matching, batch consistency, and product standardization

. Familiarity with

analytical testing methods and laboratory instrumentation

.

Other Requirements:

Knowledge of

UAE chemical safety regulations and industrial hygiene standards

. Strong

analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

. Proficiency in

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

. Ability to work across

multiple locations (UAE & India)

. Experience in

data analysis, reporting, and documentation

. Ability to thrive in a

fast-paced production environment

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
