Chemical Engineer
Job Description
Conduct site and workshop oil testing of transformers as per IEC standards, client-approved MOS, WI/WP.
Prepare test reports and coordinate with KM/client for approvals.
Troubleshoot errors in test results and propose corrective actions to clients.
Carry out stage-wise oil testing during each step of transformer maintenance.
Forecast raw material requirements for oil testing on a bi-monthly/quarterly basis and coordinate with the procurement team.
Ensure annual calibration, preventive maintenance, and health check-ups of testing instruments and laboratory equipment.
Submit oil test reports and ensure client approvals.
Verify that all works are carried out as per approved MOS, WI/WP, and checklists.
Monitor and issue clearances during each stage of oil filtration.
Ensure compliance with safety standards by using proper PPE and tools, and maintaining them in good condition.
