Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes (Idli, Dosa, Vada, Sambar, Curries, Meals, etc.).
Ensure taste, quality, and food presentation meet restaurant standards.
Manage daily kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report shortages on time.
Handle food preparation, chopping, grinding, and cooking as required.
Follow proper hygiene, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
Ensure timely preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner as per schedule.
Maintain recipe consistency and portion control.
Coordinate with helpers and other kitchen staff for smooth operations.
Reduce food wastage and manage kitchen resources efficiently.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a South Indian Cook.
Strong knowledge of South Indian recipes and techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good time management and ability to handle multiple orders.
Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times.
