Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute creative menus featuring Indian and Indo-Asian fusion dishes.
Lead kitchen operations for catering events, private functions, and corporate clients.
Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes.
Train, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high culinary and hygiene standards.
Source quality ingredients and manage supplier relationships.
Maintain cost control, portioning, and inventory management.
Collaborate with management on menu design, event customization, and seasonal offerings.
Uphold all health, safety, and food hygiene standards (HACCP compliance).
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum
5+ years of professional experience
as a Chef specializing in Indian and/or Indo-Asian cuisine.
Strong understanding of regional Indian flavors and Asian fusion techniques.
Experience in
catering, fine dining, or high-end kitchen environments
preferred.
Proven ability to create and execute new recipes with consistency and creativity.
Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification preferred.
