As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including meal preparation, menu planning, and ensuring food quality and presentation meet high standards.
Duties
Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
Develop and update menus to meet customer preferences and seasonal availability
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute catering events
Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
Skills
Proficiency in culinary techniques and kitchen management
Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate kitchen staff
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Experience in banquet or catering operations
Ability to maintain inventory control and manage food costs efficiently
Prior experience in a cook or chef role within the Restaurant industry.
