The Chef de Partie is responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's standards. This role requires a skilled and organized chef who can work efficiently under pressure, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to a harmonious kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation & Cooking:
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items specific to your designated station (e.g., grill, pastry, fish, vegetables, sauces).
Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant's quality standards and presentation guidelines.
Station Management:
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within your station.
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Quality Control:
Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients.
Check dishes before they leave the kitchen to ensure accuracy and presentation.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff regarding any special requests or issues.
Training & Supervision:
Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff or commis chefs.
Assist in training new team members as needed.
Inventory & Ordering:
Assist in monitoring stock levels and notifying the head chef or sous chef of shortages.
Follow proper procedures for food storage and waste management.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
Ensure all kitchen activities comply with hygiene and safety policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment requiring stamina and resilience.
May include shift work, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Standing for extended periods and handling hot equipment and sharp tools.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
