About Power Diet

Power Diet is a health-focused cloud kitchen dedicated to delivering fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals to customers on subscription and a la carte plans. We create balanced meals with precise nutrition values to support our customers' fitness and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation & Cooking

Prepare and cook daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner items according to Power Diet's recipes and portion guidelines. Ensure all meals meet nutritional targets for calories, protein, fats, and carbohydrates. Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.

2. Menu & Recipe Management

Collaborate with the nutritionist/management team to develop new healthy dishes. Maintain updated recipe sheets with measurements, portion sizes, and cooking methods. Suggest ingredient substitutions for better nutrition or cost efficiency.

3. Quality & Hygiene

Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP). Store ingredients properly to maintain freshness. Check quality of raw materials and report any issues to the manager.

4. Kitchen Operations

Oversee prep schedules to ensure timely delivery of meals. Manage inventory and report shortages. Reduce food wastage through effective portion control and storage management.

5. Teamwork & Leadership

Coordinate with kitchen assistants and delivery staff. Train junior kitchen staff in food prep and safety practices. Maintain a positive, efficient, and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook (preferably in healthy meal prep, fitness meals, or diet kitchens). Knowledge of nutrition and portion control. Familiarity with food safety regulations (HACCP certification preferred). Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet daily production targets. Creativity in preparing healthy yet flavorful meals.
