Job Responsibilities

Lead all kitchen operations, including planning, execution, and quality control. Supervise and train kitchen staff (sous chefs, line cooks, prep staff) to maintain high standards of performance. Standardize recipes, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes. Oversee food safety and hygiene compliance, including HACCP and local health regulations. Control food costs through effective inventory management, waste reduction, and supplier negotiations. Collaborate with front-of-house and management teams to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction. Monitor kitchen efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements. Lead recruitment, scheduling, and performance reviews for all kitchen staff. Stay current with culinary trends, techniques, and ingredient sourcing relevant to Arabic and international cuisine.

Requirements / Qualifications

Culinary diploma, degree, or equivalent professional kitchen experience. Minimum 3 years in a senior chef role within reputable restaurants or hotels. Proven expertise in

Arabic cuisine

; experience with other regional or international cuisines is a plus. Strong leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on approach. Solid understanding of kitchen budgeting, food costing, and vendor management. Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices; HACCP certification preferred. Ability to thrive under pressure, especially during high-volume service periods. Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Arabic or other language skills are an advantage. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
