Role Overview
As our Nursery Chef, you will be responsible for:
Preparing balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0-5 Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen aligned with hygiene and food safety standards Managing stock and ensuring ingredients are fresh and well-stored Catering for allergies and dietary requirements Supporting the nursery's healthy-eating culture
Contract Details
Temporary cover position Approx 3 hours per day Ideal for candidates seeking a short-term or part-time role
What We're Looking For
Experience as a chef/cook, ideally in an early years or school setting Knowledge of child nutrition and safe food preparation Strong hygiene standards (food safety certification is a plus) Reliability, organisation, and a positive attitude Ability to work well as part of a caring, multicultural team
