A Snapshot of Your Day: Source insights from available data, and develop Channel in-store visibility and traffic growth strategies. Adopt the strategies with the ultimate goal to achieve sustainable Sales growth in respective channels. Role and Responsibilities How You Will Make An Impact: Channel Strategy
Help developing regional channel (go-to-market) strategy starting to the retail shop front
Help driving right in-store portfolio management; criteria based incentive schemes across channels
Development, adoption and tracking actionable Retail store KPIs (Sales, Targets delivery, mix and other)
Help developing the Samsung Brand Shops Store Channel strategy, target, and expansion plan
Implement, check and maintain Samsung retail guideline standards
Execution
Engage with the regional Samsung teams to build the distributor and channel organization capability
Setup and keep updating a plan for channel marketing activities with team / business partners and follow-up execution (retail shop management)
Actively monitor & report retail market intelligence and make recommendations to management
Directly supervise, lead and support teams in MENA market
Manage Shelf Share, Hot Spot Locations and other in-store performance KPIs.
Presentation
Responsible for Tracking the retail strategy execution across MENA markets, but translating the strategy into execution KPIs and setting scorecard with market targets
Analyze retail data, develop insights and report to management with actionable recommendations
Being able to streamline the insights into a strategy, explain both insights and strategy through presentation in a multi-national / multi-cultural environment
Skills and Qualifications What Youll Need:
At least 8-10 years of extensive experience in retail management and or/ sales and marketing in consumer electronics industry.
Business Development experience is a must; preferably in Retail environment
Strong understanding of CPG industry Sales practice
Excellent PC and analytical skills, experience working with data sets
Business experience in the MENA markets
Team player with strong engagement skills including at C-level
Ability to perform and work under different conditions and in a multicultural team.
Should have good experience in managing teams of merchandisers in a retail environment
Multi-tasking skills essential to cope during busy and stressful periods
Good ability to work under pressure
Should act professionally and represent the company with the highest standards of integrity at all times
Should be both reliable and determined in meeting the demands of the companys retail display standards & objectives.
Have a genuine interest and knowledge for the Consumer Electronics industry and business.
