Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Central Kitchen Staff with at least 2 years of experience working in a central kitchen in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to established recipes and standards, as well as assisting with preparations and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in quality and taste.
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients and ensure that all necessary ingredients and equipment are available for the cooking process.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be reordered.
- Assist with the development of new recipes and menu items as needed.
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff members to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Follow established procedures for opening and closing the kitchen and ensure that all equipment is cleaned and stored properly.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a central kitchen in the UAE.
- Experience in cooking and preparations in a central kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 kilos.
