About the role As Key Account Manager, you will be the single point of entry for our priority customers, and you will be the representative of FLSmidth. In collaboration with supporting departments, you will be responsible for driving the sales of Spare Parts and Service to our cement customers globally - however, within a given geographical area. You will be working with internal supporting sales teams and stakeholders, and you will be responsible for securing the given sales budget. You will also be responsible for final stages of customer negotiations to optimize the possibilities of increased sales as well as optimized contribution margins. It is expected that you setup disciplined follow-ups with customers on Teams or by phone. You will be in close contact with internal stakeholders to ensure that the proposal and orders are delivered as agreed with our customers. Sales activities will be conducted from our office, customer visits are rare and only in case it is absolutely needed. You will be a part of a newly formed team of highly motivated sales colleagues that are located globally around the world.

Responsibilities Country/Customer overall responsible including budget goals Be the single point of entry for customer requests Collaboration - Daily contact with internal stakeholders to align on ongoing cases, strategies, customer challenges etc. Proposal follow up with customer - arrange structured and disciplined follow up plan, following up on phone or teams meeting. Negotiating with the customer Deciding payment terms and taking tough and duly decisions if the customer is not paying on time CRM Management Managing monthly service letters Collecting overdue payment Set guidelines for pricing Investigate and understand market conditions for given area (Competition, customer behavior, customer setup etc.) Understand customer organization, approval workflow and decision makers Drive and manage campaigns Coordinating with Capital Sales if customer is asking for activities out of the service portfolio Convey customer concerns, feedback and potential leads into the organization Picking up leads and analyzing them to advise if the request is serious or not to reduce waste of time in the organization Monitoring workflows and optimize if needed Managing professional service proposals in collaboration with the service dept. (negotiation, planning, customer needs)

Your Qualifications Full professional French and English language skills Commercial knowledge and previous sales experience Persuading and influencing skills Excellent communication skills - especially using a digital solution such as MS Teams, Sharepoint, Power BI etc. The ability to understand and convey technical and commercial requests from customers Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively Computer literate in MS Office and Customer Relations Management Previous technical experience in the Cement Industry or other heavy industries Ability to build a strong network internally in FLSmidth and an understanding of the organization to get things done in timely manner Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs) Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude Bachelor/Master degree

You can anticipate approximately 50 - 60 travel days per year.
