DHL Global Forwarding Abu Dhabi has an opening for a CDZ Customer Service & Operations Specialist where you will be responsible to handle day-to-day shipments & operational activities of Customs Clearance Customers (CDZ) in a most efficient, smooth and productive manner to meet KPIs, service deliverables & customer expectation. In this CDZ Customer Service & Operations Specialist position

  • You will coordinate with vendors on the activities related to execute the shipments within the required timelines (i.e. collection of delivery orders, customs clearance and delivery).
  • You will create and/or confirm transport orders, perform, and optimize bookings.
  • You will update Customer shipment information and physical status, resolve customer issues and incidents.
  • You will identify performance issues of suppliers and propose solutions to improve performance.
  • You will provide complete and accurate information proactively to customers.
  • You will manage end-to-end shipment handling including billing.
  • You will ensure that details in the documents are complete, accurate and released on time.
  • You will drive solution of customer complaints by solving it directly or assigning tasks to other function.
  • You will establish professional relationship with customers to ensure repeat business and long-term partnership.
  • You will follow up with overseas entities to ensure all milestones are achieved.
  • You may influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
  • You will support and interact primarily with colleagues of own function.
  • You will build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns.
  • You will address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships.
  • You will monitor and evaluate performance based on agreed requirements and initiate/support improvement actions when process falls short of required performance.

Now, here\xe2\x80\x99s what we need from you

  • 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of import & export operational at freight forwarding company or shipping line.
  • Good command over Microsoft Office and other related software, CW1 experience is an advantage.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
