Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus. Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety. Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating, and food costs on an ongoing basis. Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation. Experience in relevant field with international cuisine includes breakfast and high tea established restaurant. Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment. Have excellent knowledge of menu creation, whilst maintaining quality and controlling costs in a volume food business. Ability to produce own work in accordance with a deadline and to assist and encourage others in achieving this aim. Should be able to set an example to others for personal hygiene and cleanliness on and off duty. Assess quality control and adhere to restaurant service standards. Prerequisites: A high standard of spoken and written English. Flexible working hours subject to the demands of the business. Able to work under pressure. Excellent culinary catering talent as per the requirement. Education: Hotel Management Degree/diploma or minimum 3 years certification. Minimum 3-4 years Experience in relevant field with international cuisine well established restaurant.
