Chef de Partie (CDP) oversees a designated station in the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, presentation, and timely service. The CDP must maintain consistency, adhere to food safety standards, and assist junior staff while following the Head Chef's directives.

Responsibilities:

? Food Preparation & Cooking:

- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards.

- Ensure all food is of high quality, properly seasoned, and cooked to perfection.

- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.

? Station Management:

- Oversee a specific section (e.g., saute, grill, pastry, cold kitchen).

- Ensure smooth workflow and timely dish assembly during service.

- Monitor stock levels and inform superiors of shortages.

? Hygiene & Safety Compliance:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.

- Follow HACCP and food safety regulations.

- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.

? Team Coordination:

- Train and guide Demi-Chefs and Commis Chefs.

- Collaborate with other CDPs and kitchen staff for efficient service.

- Assist Sous Chef in menu development and kitchen operations.

? Quality Control:

- Taste dishes to ensure consistency and flavor.

- Report any issues with food quality or equipment to superiors.

Requirements & Skills:

? Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience.

? 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen (preferably as a Demi-Chef or CDP).

? Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

? Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

? Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

? Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, SERV Safe, etc.).

Work Conditions:

- Full-time position with shift work (evenings, weekends, holidays).

- Fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From QAR3,500.00 per month
