Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems including cameras, servers, storage, and related equipment.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on surveillance systems.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment or connections.
Run and terminate cables (coaxial, CAT5/6, fiber optic) for CCTV and security systems.
Integrate CCTV systems with other security infrastructure (e.g., access control, alarms).
Ensure systems meet client specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
Provide technical support and training to clients or end-users.
Document installations, configurations, and service activities.
Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, or engineers on larger projects.
Diploma or certification in electronics, IT, or a related field.
Experience with NVRs/DVRs, remote monitoring systems, and security network configuration.
Certifications from manufacturers (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, etc.) are a plus.
