A catering supervisor is responsible for planning and supervising food services, especially from outsourced catering vendors, for special groups and gatherings.
The key responsibilities of this role include participating in the selection of staff, promoting and conducting special activities, events, and presentations in support of the program, establishing and maintaining catering event service standards, and maintaining records and preparing reports related to event planning, ordering, and billing.
Job Requirements
High school graduation or equivalent qualifications
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Adequate knowledge of food service organization and operations
