Catering & Call Centre Coordinator
Reports To: Sales & Marketing Manager / Catering Manager
Job Overview:
This dual-focus role is the central hub for incoming customer inquiries and catering sales. The coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service over the phone and email, while also managing the logistics and administration of catering orders from inquiry to fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Answer all incoming calls in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Respond to customer inquiries via email and social media channels.
• Process catering orders, detailing menu selections, pricing, delivery/pickup times, and special instructions.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and the kitchen (chefs) for catering orders.
• Maintain and update the customer database and order management system.
• Upsell and promote catering packages and special offers.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the delivery team or third-party couriers for order dispatch.
• Prepare invoices and ensure accurate payment processing.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma required; further education in business or hospitality is a plus.
• Proven experience in a call center, customer service, or administrative role.
• Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and experience with CRM or order management software.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of catering operations and menu items is advantageous.
