Job Description

The Category Manager - Electronics at LAWAZEM will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our electronics product line. This position is responsible for developing and executing effective category strategies, managing product assortments, and optimizing vendor relationships to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and implement strategic category plans for electronics that align with the overall business objectives and market trends. Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer behavior, and competitive strategies in the electronics sector. Source and select quality electronics products that meet customer demands and preferences while maintaining a competitive edge in the market. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements with suppliers to secure optimal terms and ensure product quality and availability. Manage vendor relationships effectively, ensuring that performance metrics are met and issues are resolved promptly. Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to make informed decisions on product offerings and assortment adjustments. Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns and product launches to drive category growth. Monitor category performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve sales and margin targets. Provide insights and recommendations for improving customer experience and satisfaction related to the electronics category.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management or product management, ideally within the electronics industry. Strong understanding of electronics products, market dynamics, and technology trends. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams. Data-driven mindset and analytical skills to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of category management software. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. * Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and respond to changing market conditions.
