Key responsibilities: Formulate, communicate, and implement the global procurement strategy for spares for APM Terminals Work cross-functionally with colleagues from Asset Maintenance to help optimize inventory cost Develop customer-centric solutions that address structural problems Lead, coach and mentor a team of Assistant Category Managers - inspire them to navigate through unfamiliar territory and create value-adding solutions Lead Supplier Contract/Price negotiations and Global Framework Agreement (GFA) efforts Map and analyze data on current spend patterns and identify cost drivers and opportunities in complex marketplaces Work with our Digital Procurement colleagues to support targets pertaining to catalogue usage Lead creative idea generation workshops with suppliers and internal stakeholders Develop and manage key suppliers through structured Supplier Relationship Management Participates in the development of root cause analysis for major incidents impacting the terminal operations and ensure identified countermeasures are deployed as planned. Creation of Data visualization & KPI models via Power BI and IFS Enhance the data quality of catalogues and increase the overall catalogue coverage. Act as the center of excellence for the managed categories through complete understanding of the products, their application, suppliers, industry trends, competitive landscape, future technologies, and innovations. Support the business functions and business units in resolving Supplier Delivery, Quality, Commercial or Contractual issues Analyze data and work with management to develop creative IT solutions. Research and analysis improvement opportunities, conducts analysis, prepares recommendations, and facilitates efficiency enhancements. Develops business requirement documents and specifications Act as the center of excellence for the managed categories through complete understanding of the products, their application, suppliers, industry trends, competitive landscape, future technologies, and innovations. Support the business functions and business units in resolving Supplier Delivery, Quality, Commercial or Contractual issues

What we are looking for: Has a minimum of 5 years of relevant track record in procurement, consultancy, supply chain, category management related positions Is experienced and comfortable working with an international and (or virtual) team. Is experienced in coaching and developing teams. Is experienced working in a matrix set up. Has managed suppliers/customers' management level relationships and has experience in holding complex negotiations Experience with strategy development and implementation is preferred Has in-depth knowledge in end-to-end supply chain processes and systems Has demonstrated proactiveness, assertiveness, resilience, and persistence in achieving goals Is adept at analyzing data; can zoom in and out and tell logical stories upwards Has the ability to make decisions and drive task completion in instances where absolute clarity does not exist Has the ability to manage internal & external stakeholders efficiently Has excellent English language communication skills (verbal and written) Has a min. Bachelor's degree (MBA, MSc in Supply Chain Management will be a plus) Extensive knowledge of working in ERP systems (preferably in IFS10) and conducting complex data analysis via SQL development, Power BI creation
