Job Description

To provide functional expertise and direct procurement operations in line with the overall business strategy to ensure cost optimizations and user satisfaction while safeguarding DAMAC’s business interests. Strategic Contribution
  • Establish and oversee implementation of a supplier management strategy that achieves required quality, delivery, service, and commercial terms from suppliers to rationalize the supplier base and improve the efficiency of the supply chain where possible.
People Management
  • As category manager for digital marketing and all above the line activities, candidate will have daily interaction with Digital Marketing team, same will require high capacity and smart way of managing people.
  • Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the assigned department to foster a value driven culture within the organization.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
  • Manage and ensure effective implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
  • Drive process and procedure standardization for supplier management, data collection, negotiation, performance improvement, cost reduction, and communication strategies in line with best fitted global practices.
  • Procurement Management
  • Ensure that procurement strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets, providing a competitive advantage for DAMAC.
  • Lead all activities related to ATL marketing including but not limited, Social Media campaigns, brand awareness campaigns, SEO, SME, Google Ads,etc.. negotiations and contract finalization.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to ensure timely supply of all material for continuity of operations.
  • Participate and implement rate cards and frame works for all media buying activities to reduce the operational load and ensure seamless events.
  • Vendor Relationships
  • Develop and manage strategic supplier relationship and direct the continuous monitoring of the global market for possible new vendors adhering to quality standards in line with DAMAC's business strategies. Candidate will be responsible also on managing internal stakeholders to make sure vendor paid on time to maintain healthy relationship.
  • Contracts Management
  • Negotiation level, Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms, including technical and operational input from stakeholders as needed.
  • Ensure that the suppliers' prices, reliability, and adherence to contractual commitments are reviewed on a regular basis, and that necessary actions are made if necessary.
  • Lead investigation of any serious issues/ contract breaches in the procurement cycle to supervise the preparation of consequent action plans.
  • Interface closely with divisions and business units at DAMAC for establishing and maintaining the required service level agreements.
  • Reporting Ensure that all unit reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet DAMAC requirements, policies, and quality standards.
