We are looking for a strategic and data driven analyst to work on business strategy and operations. You will be working closely with the consumer travel business team on key business projects to drive growth. You would be the right fit if you have a passion for understanding consumer needs in an e-commerce environment. Having a data-driven mindset, comprehension of marketing and digital products and exceptional communication skills are also key for success. The goal is to increase sales and profitability of the business to drive sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze data and derive insights to determine industry and consumer trends
Achieve and exceed monthly and annual targets set for product categories
Devise long-term development strategies to help define product roadmap
Work with supplier relations team to ensure proper product availability and pricing
Working very closely with revenue management to optimize margins
Liaise with marketing teams to determine promotional activities
Manage monthly forecasts and monitor achievement against targets
Assume responsibility for budget development and revenue for the category
Work closely with the digital products team to ensure the right product development priorities are set.
Leading category management projects to optimize ranges and related merchandising.
Requirements
Right candidate will have hands-on experience with data analytics
Solid knowledge of category management, marketing, and product principles
Understanding of data analysis techniques \xe2\x80\x93 especially SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau / PowerBI
Proficient in MS Office \xe2\x80\x93 Majorly Advanced Excel and Powerpoint
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Excellent communication and people skills
Strong people management skills and the ability to manage and persuade at all levels of the company is essential
