The Role
Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage transactions with customers using cash registers \xe2\x80\xa2 Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate \xe2\x80\xa2 Collect payments whether in cash or credit \xe2\x80\xa2 Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets \xe2\x80\xa2 Redeem stamps and coupons \xe2\x80\xa2 Cross-sell products and introduce new ones \xe2\x80\xa2 Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information \xe2\x80\xa2 Greet customers when entering or leaving the store \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas \xe2\x80\xa2 Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies \xe2\x80\xa2 Bag, box or gift-wrap packages \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle merchandise returns and exchanges

Requirements
Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales \xe2\x80\xa2 Basic PC knowledge \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS \xe2\x80\xa2 Good math skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication and time management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Customer satisfaction-oriented
