Job Description
CASHIER
- Scan the items, register the sales, and process transactions using the required mode of payment
- Ensure proper rates / denominations of currencies are communicated to the customers
- Fill and arrange the items on shelves, and ensure the selling area is organized and displays as per the company merchandise policy
- Place and maintain the necessary labels and price tags on items to ensure accurate labelling of items and correct pricing
- Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, and price)
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
