Cashier - Retail Sales and Customer Support Dubai
Role Summary
We are hiring a trustworthy and detail-oriented Cashier to manage daily cash and credit transactions at our retail store in Dubai. This full-time role is ideal for someone with experience handling customer payments, maintaining cash records, and delivering excellent front-line service. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while enhancing the in-store customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Process all customer payments including cash, card, and approved credit transactions
• Issue accurate receipts and bills and reconcile them with sales at end of day
• Prepare and submit daily cash summaries to the accountant
• Ensure secure custody of all cash, cheques, and payment documents
• Deposit cash and cheques at the bank daily as per company procedures
• Handle customer calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Manage petty cash usage and maintain clear records for periodic approval
• Keep track of daily customer traffic and assist in compiling visitor reports
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier area and follow company cash handling policies

Ideal Profile

• High school qualification required
• 2 to 3 years of cashier or retail experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Trustworthy and detail-oriented with high personal integrity
• Proficient in basic computer applications and POS systems
• Well-groomed with a pleasant personality
• Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills
