We are hiring for a well-reputed Pastry Company. - Salesman cum Cashier Responsibilities - Ensure that customers are acknowledged and receive a quality service either face to face or over other mediums.
- Maintain excellent standards in shop display by organizing and arranging the shop efficiently.
- Be actively involved in the ordering process and ensure new stocks is available for replenishment on the shop floor before the store opens.
- Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
- Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totalling customers' purchases.
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions.
- Bags purchases if needed.
- Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items; and operating a cash register.
- Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes changes for cash customers.
- Balances cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of the work shift.
- Provides pricing information by answering questions.
- Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Cashier Qualifications/ Skills: - Friendly and positive attitude

- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail Education and Experience Requirements: - Bachelors Degree
- 1-2 years of retail experience desired
- Effective communication and customer service skills
