Responsibilites for Hostess:

Greeting guests
Taking reservations and manage waiting list
Communicating wait times to guests and managing the seating chart and distributing menus.
Requires a strong communication and time management skills.
Customer satisfaction-oriented.

Responsibilities for Cashiers:

Communicates with customers, and assists other restaurant staff as needed.
Operates a cash register
Process credit card payments, accept cash payments and provide the change, and use a point of sale (POS) system for transactions.
Restaurant cashier duties also involve greeting guests, helping resolve customer complaints, and maintaining knowledge of the menu and sales policies.
Experience in food service or retail is helpful, and basic math, customer service, and communication skills are essential.
