• Shuttering carpenter is responsible for making shutters and assembling system form-work for structures such as columns, beams, slabs, walls, foundations and other similar structures. The candidate should have good knowledge of safe working practices. The main duties of a shuttering carpenter are:
• Setting out the work area, following engineering plans. Using hand and power tools to cut plywood, wood and assemble shutters/boxes and panels using screws.
• Reading of drawings/projects/plans in English and independent work are mandatory.

Carpenter:

Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and cleanliness at all times.

To provide a professional and effective joinery and carpentry, minor painting works for

installation, maintenance and repair services.

To provide a professional standard of workmanship in all carpentry and joinery

installations, maintenance and repairs on cabinetry, doors, frameworks, floors, and

wooden structures.

To build cabinets, vanities, tub and shower surrounds and other projects based on demand.

To frame room additions as needed.

To select and evaluate materials for defects.

Install cabinets, counters and molding.

To assemble sturdy and well-constructed floorboards, skirting boards, window frames,

doors, door linings, staircases, fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and more.

Incorporate fixtures like door handles and locks, cabinet handles, stairway railing, and

other fixtures into design and implementation.

Build temporary fittings and supports for setting concrete (shuttering).

Craft furniture with fine detail work and/or utmost sturdiness and quality.

Participate in first fixing as well as second fixing work.

Combine carpentry work with joining work.

Repair and refurbishes existing building work.

Replace damaged wood in hardwood floors and outdoor decks.

Use power tools and other tools to cut and shape wood, metal, and other materials.

Execute all in carpentry section to the highest professional standards.

Perform the tasks assigned to him and ensures their implementation while working

independently.

Act on issues and concerns in his activity field immediately.

Abide to the daily task and ensures timely implementation.

Ensure system and data security is maintained at a high standard, ensuring the integrity of

the network is not compromised, in accordance with ISO requirements.
