Overview

ALTA VITA is looking for an experienced and dedicated Carpenter Chargehand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and executing the work of carpenters involved in RCC formwork, framing, roofing and gypsum installations. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional craftsmanship, and a commitment to safety and quality across various aspects of carpentry.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and lead a team of carpenters in the construction and installation of RCC formwork, framing, roofing and gypsum installations.

- Ensure that all carpentry work complies with project specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide the team in accurate f RCC formwork, framing, roofing and gypsum installations and other carpentry tasks.

- Oversee the construction of frameworks, fixtures, and fittings, ensuring precision in measurements and alignment.

- Provide hands on support and expertise in all carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing and finishing work.

- Monitor work progress and implement efficient work plans to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

- Conduct regular quality checks on materials and workmanship to uphold the highest construction standards.

- Maintain effective communication with site management, providing updates on project status and addressing any challenges that arise.

- Collaborate effectively with other trades and contractors to coordinate activities and ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

- 5 Years proven experience as a carpenter, with supervisory experience in a construction environment, particularly in RCC projects.

- Strong knowledge of formwork processes, framing techniques, and finishing carpentry.

- Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints accurately.

- Familiarity with safety regulations and construction best practices.

- Relevant certifications in carpentry or related fields are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
