Job Description

Position: Cargo Supervisor
Salary: 10200 AED
Rotation: 60/30
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the loading and unloading of cargo from trucks, ships, and other modes of transportation
- Ensure that all cargo is properly secured and stored to prevent damage during transportation
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for ongoing operations
- Conduct regular inspections of cargo and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with logistics team to plan and schedule cargo deliveries to meet project timelines
- Communicate with clients and vendors to coordinate the movement of cargo and resolve any issues that may arise
- Train and supervise cargo handling personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of all cargo movements and prepare reports as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local and international regulations related to cargo handling and transportation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cargo handling, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of cargo handling and transportation regulations and best practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery as needed
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed
