Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To oversee and ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant loading, securing, and offloading of cargo on flydubai freighter aircraft. The role ensures adherence to all weight and balance limitations, cargo loading procedures, and regulatory standards while coordinating closely with Ground Handling Agents (GHA), and Cargo Operations Control. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads and supervises all loading, offloading, and in-flight load management activities for freighter flights to ensure compliance with the approved load plan, aircraft limitations, and safety standards. Prepares and verifies the aircraft load sheet, weight & balance, and special load documentation in coordination with the Load Control and Operations teams. Inspects and approves the placement, restraint, and securing of all cargo, Unit Load Devices (ULDs), pallets, and special loads (Dangerous Goods (DG), Live Animals (AVI), Perishables (PER), Valuables (VAL), etc.) in accordance with IATA and manufacturer guidelines. Coordinates with Flight Crew and GHA teams to validate the final load configuration and ensure all discrepancies are resolved prior to aircraft departure. Monitors and enforces adherence to flydubai Cargo operating standards, Ground Handling Manual (GHM), and freighter loading procedures specific to Aircraft type. Performs safety briefings and pre-flight checks to ensure equipment, loading tools, and personnel comply with safety and operational standards. Ensures accuracy of documentation including load sheets, Notification to Captain (NOTOCs), cargo manifests, and special load declarations. Provides on-ground oversight for ad-hoc, charter, and Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance (ACMI) operations to ensure consistency with flydubai Cargo procedures. Reports and escalates any operational or safety irregularities to the Cargo Operations Control Center (COCC) and recommends corrective action. Supports training and continuous improvement by sharing on-ground feedback to improve cargo handling standards, ULD utilization, and operational safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) Fluent in English Minimum 3 years of experience in airline cargo or freighter operations, with at least 2 years in a Loadmaster or Load Control function. Strong understanding of cargo aircraft load planning, center of gravity control, and restraint systems. Familiar with GCAA, IATA, and operator-specific ground handling standards. Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years IATA/ICAO Load Control and Weight and Balance Certification (required) Dangerous Goods (Category 6/CBTA) Certification (required)

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.
