1. Supervise the job request from Assistant Manager, Construction and Maintenance and assist in job allocations to the electricians as per nature of work and location.
2. Coordinate and ensure availability of required material to do the job.
3. Perform electrical load calculations and offer recommendations to the Project Engineer on installations of electrical systems.
4. Interpret verbal and written instructions and sketches for execution of jobs.
5. Install, connect, test and repair electrical installations.
6. Assist in selection and material recommendation required for jobs.
7. Assist in estimation of execution time required for jobs.
8. Conduct meter reading, check actual running voltage from the Ministry of Electricity and Water, install transformer to step up or step down the voltage for the safety of the equipment and premises.
9. Conduct preventive maintenance of the electrical installations.
10. Train electrical workshop staff in trouble shooting, when necessary and ensure adherence to safety standards.
11. Instruct, train and supervise the work of lower level Electricians.
12. Comply with the Group\'s standard for housekeeping, personal safety and appearance.
13. Understand and uphold the corporate policy for quality including the objectives for quality and commitment to quality.
14. Comply with the elements of the Quality System and complimentary processes in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 International Standard and represent the company in a manner which upholds the reputation of Mohamed Naser Al-Sayer and Sons Est.
