Cards Governance & Portfolio Manager

Job Description

The Citi UAE Cards business is profitable and growing. This is a key role for the business which will focus on controls, process re-engineering, business planning and analytics & insight. The role requires a strong team player who thrives in a demanding and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage controls related activities (coordinate monthly, quarterly & annual processes)
  • Implement robust control discipline across existing and new portfolio initiatives
  • Ensure product’s day-to-day operations and new initiatives are in compliance with regulations and Citi’s internal policies
  • Support Controls & Risk management through MCA process coordination
  • Support projects related to Central Bank, Regulation and Internal Audits
  • Drive process re-engineering across portfolio activities
  • Enhance & oversee campaign fulfilment process
  • Leverage technology platforms for portfolio campaigns and effective campaign tracking
  • Review existing setup to identify any available revenue opportunities
  • Work closely with Technology and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that these system changes functionality work as intended
  • Support business & financial planning (forecasting, performance tracking)
  • Leverage deeper understanding of portfolio management in forecasting drivers and revenue
  • Work closely with the analytics team to define key metrics / dashboards and ensure that they are timely delivered for decision management in Cards Portfolio and Products
  • Support analysis and insight generation to help drive deeper understanding of customer behaviour and improve efficiency of portfolio campaigns
  • Tracking of such initiatives to ensure that results are as expected
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of product management, portfolio management, program management, and marketing
  • Working knowledge of cards business preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirement
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Business acumen with ability to review alternate courses of action and comprehend trade off decisions
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
