Job Description

Exterior Detailing

Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors using appropriate tools and chemicals.

Interior Detailing

Vacuum seats, carpets, floor mats, and boot area thoroughly. Shampoo and deep clean upholstery and carpets to remove stains and odors. Clean and condition leather seats and surfaces. Clean dashboards, door panels, headliners, and other interior components. Use steam cleaners and extraction machines when necessary. Apply protective coatings to interior surfaces (fabric/leather protectants).

Glass & Surface Cleaning

Clean windows, mirrors, and windshields (inside & outside). Remove water spots, smudges, and stains from glass surfaces. Polish metal, chrome, and plastic surfaces.

Vehicle Inspection

Inspect vehicles for damages, scratches, and detailing requirements before starting work. Report any issues or additional service needs to supervisors or customers.

Chemical & Equipment Handling

Use detailing chemicals safely and as per company guidelines. Maintain and operate buffers, steamers, pressure washers, vacuums, and polishers. Ensure all tools and materials are cleaned and stored properly after use.

Customer Service

Explain detailing packages and recommend suitable services to customers. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality detailing results. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.

Workplace Maintenance

Keep detailing bays, tools, and work area clean and organized. Follow safety and hygiene standards. Maintain inventory of detailing supplies and report shortages. Perform clay bar treatment to remove contaminants from paint surfaces. Apply polish, wax, and sealants to enhance and protect vehicle paint. Clean and restore tires, rims, and wheel wells. Conduct paint correction to remove scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation (if required). Perform engine bay cleaning and dressing.
