The role holder will be responsible for ensuring that all detailing, PPF, and window tinting services meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations. This role involves inspecting, testing, and evaluating finished vehicles and processes to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring the highest level of service quality and consistency.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles after detailing, PPF application, and window tinting to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform visual and physical tests to identify defects or areas for improvement.
Use specialized tools and equipment to measure the quality of the work performed.
Implement quality control procedures and standards for detailing, PPF, and tinting services.
Ensure that all services are delivered according to the company's guidelines and customer specifications.
Document inspection results, quality issues, and corrective actions taken.
Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and outcomes.
Train staff in quality control procedures and best practices.
Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Assist in resolving quality-related issues and implementing corrective actions.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in detailing, PPF, and window tinting techniques.
Ensure adherence & compliance to policies, procedures, ISO standards, Health & Safety requirements, ethical code of conduct & values.
Key Accountabilities:
Inspection Accuracy: Ensure that 100% of vehicles inspected meet quality standards.
Process Adherence: Maintain adherence to established quality control procedures and achieve 100% compliance with quality control checklists and protocols.
Reporting and Documentation: Provide accurate and timely reports on quality control activities. Ensure that all inspection reports and quality documentation are completed and submitted within 24 hours.
Training Effectiveness: Train staff to adhere to quality standards and improve overall quality.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of process improvements and quality enhancements.
Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development.
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Certification in Automotive Quality Control (preferred).
3+ years of experience in vehicle inspection, quality control, or a similar role in the automotive industry.
Prior experience with luxury or premium car brands is a plus.
Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to achieving a flawless quality.
Use of tools
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in automotive detailing, PPF, or window tinting preferred.
Proven experience in quality control or a similar role within the automotive industry.
