We are seeking an experienced and professional Captain Waiter to join our esteemed restaurant team in the beautiful city of Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As a Captain Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and mentoring our service team.
Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant's dining area
Lead, train, and motivate the waiting staff to maintain high service standards
Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and professional welcome
Manage reservations and handle special requests or dietary requirements
Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and wine recommendations
Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Assist in inventory management and stock control
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow
Maintain a clean and organized dining area at all times
Uphold and promote the cultural etiquette and hospitality standards of Ras Al-Khaimah and the UAE
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality
Previous experience in a supervisory role within food service
Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills
Proficiency in restaurant management software
Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Valid food safety certification
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage pairing
Thorough understanding of fine dining etiquette and service standards
Knowledge of local cuisine and cultural etiquette in Ras Al-Khaimah and the UAE
Familiarity with Middle Eastern hospitality standards
Strong organizational and time management skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
