We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented

Captain Waiter

to join a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel group in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position within a luxury hospitality setting, demonstrating strong leadership skills, exceptional guest service, and the ability to manage a team of waitstaffs efficiently. The Captain Waiter will play a vital role in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring service excellence, and enhancing the overall guest dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support waitstaff to deliver exceptional food and beverage service that meets luxury hotel standards. Oversee daily floor operations to ensure tables are attended efficiently and guests receive prompt service. Train, coach, and motivate team members to maintain high levels of performance and service consistency. Address guest feedback and concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in the dining and service areas. Coordinate closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth and timely service delivery. Manage table setups, reservations, and special dining arrangements. Monitor stock levels of service items and report shortages promptly. Adhere to all operational, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Captain Waiter or Senior Waiter in a 5-star hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or upscale hospitality venue. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Solid knowledge of fine-dining service standards, menu items, and up-selling techniques. Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with luxury service expectations. Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a busy environment. Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous.
