We are hiring an experienced and service-focused

Captain Waiter

on behalf of a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel group in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of

2 years of experience

in a similar role within a

luxury hospitality environment

, leading a team of waitstaffs and ensuring the highest standards of guest service. The Captain Waiter will play a key role in coordinating restaurant operations, maintaining service quality, and enhancing the overall guest dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and guide waitstaff in delivering outstanding food and beverage service in line with luxury hotel standards Coordinate daily operations on the floor, ensuring tables are properly attended and service flows smoothly Assist in training and mentoring junior staff to maintain consistent service excellence Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction Maintain a strong presence during service periods, ensuring attention to detail and guest needs Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and organization across the dining area and service stations Liaise with the kitchen and other departments to ensure timely and accurate service Assist in managing reservations, table settings, and special dining arrangements Monitor inventory of service-related supplies and report shortages Follow all hotel safety and operational procedures

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Minimum

2+ years of experience

as a

Captain Waiter or Senior Waiter

in a

luxury hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or upscale hospitality setting

Strong leadership and team coordination abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Deep understanding of fine-dining etiquette, food & beverage knowledge, and up-selling techniques Well-groomed, professional appearance in line with luxury hospitality standards Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus Arabic speaking candidates preferred Candidates currently based in Qatar will be prioritized Overseas candidates are welcome's to apply
