About the team As part of the Captain Acquisition and Market Ops team you'll help the on-ground team acquire supply for meeting the requirements of the business and provide best in class reliability and supply experience for Careem Customers. In addition, you will be part of the captain support team present at the operation center that helps, supports, and troubleshoots captain issues daily. About the role You will also take part in multiple cross functional supply related projects, manage vendor relationships to increase supply on the Careem Platform, and ensure reliability and experience across all the ride hailing vertical daily. In addition to also, be a part of the customer and captain support team that provides non-voice support to their issues and challenges through the system and help in resolving these issues on a daily basis and in a timely manner. What you'll do Acquisition & Onboarding - Support the team by acquiring captains, activating their accounts, and onboarding them on the captain application to start working. Project support - Work with Team Leads with day-to-day projects, quality control, gathering, analysis, documentation and coordinate accordingly, including site survey if needed. Working closely with our Super Captains to troubleshoot, identify, and fix captain related issues. Monitor day to day operations to ensure optimal quality and customer experience. Captain support and Operation Center Management - Work closely with the Market Operations team to provide timely and proactive support. Oversee and manage the offline training provided to captains at the OC. Listen attentively to the voice of Customers and Captains and provide meaningful insight to improve their experience on the platform. Actively contribute to the data-driven environment of Careem with best practices, methodology and data visibility. Market research " Market Intelligence" is needed, to learn more about the existing market, customers, problems, competitions and growth potential. Customer & Captain support - Providing customers and captains with the support through our ticketing system on the application and resolving their issues + escalating to the relevant teams in a timely manner. What you'll need Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with tight deadlines. Flexible with working hours The role entails performing duties during regular working hours and occasional on-call tasks during non-business hours as and when required. Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience/Fresh graduate is acceptable. Educated to BS level (or equivalent) within a subject relevant to the position. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL is a plus.
