Job Description
The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibrations, verifications, and certifications on a variety of measurement and test equipment (M&TE) in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform calibration and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, dimensional, and/or physical measuring equipment. Maintain accurate records of calibration data and generate calibration certificates. Ensure all instruments are calibrated within specified intervals. Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues or out-of-tolerance conditions. Use calibration software and databases to log and track calibration activities. Follow established quality and safety procedures in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, or other applicable standards. Communicate with internal departments or external customers regarding calibration results or issues. Assist with the development or improvement of calibration procedures.
