Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Cake Decoration & Design:

Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and pastries with various designs using buttercream, fondant, ganache, and other techniques. Ensure artistic creativity while maintaining consistency in designs. Personalize cakes as per customer orders and special requests.
2.

Preparation & Baking:

Assist in preparing cake bases, fillings, and frostings. Ensure all cakes are baked and prepared in a timely manner.
3.

Quality Control:

Maintain high-quality standards in taste, texture, and presentation. Check finished products for accuracy, appearance, and customer satisfaction.
4.

Inventory & Supply Management:

Monitor stock levels of decorating materials and ingredients. Coordinate with management for restocking and special ingredient requirements.
5.

Hygiene & Cleanliness:

Follow food safety regulations and ensure a clean workstation. Maintain hygiene in all areas of cake decoration and preparation.
6.

Customer Interaction:

Work closely with the sales team to understand customer preferences. Handle last-minute customizations when required.
7.

Team Collaboration:

Work efficiently with the bakery team to manage orders and workflow. Assist in training junior staff if necessary.

Requirements:

? Previous experience as a Cake Decorator or in a similar role.

? Skilled in fondant work, piping, and artistic cake designs.

? Creativity and attention to detail.

? Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment.

? Knowledge of baking and food safety standards.

? Team player with a positive attitude.
