Use advanced cake-decorating techniques including sculpting, carving, molding, and sugar art.
Work with fondant, buttercream, chocolate, and other mediums to produce visually appealing and high-quality designs.
Collaborate with customers and the sales team to understand requirements and provide creative suggestions.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the cake preparation area.
Manage time effectively to meet deadlines, especially during peak seasons or large orders.
Stay updated with cake design trends and introduce innovative ideas to the bakery.
Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cake Designer/Pastry Chef specializing in 3D cakes.
Strong artistic skills and creativity in cake decoration.
Knowledge of cake-decorating tools, edible materials, and modern techniques.
Attention to detail with excellent time management.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
Culinary/pastry certification is a plus.
