CAD Draftsman will be responsible for producing detailed architectural drawings. This role combines both architectural design requiring proficiency in drafting and detailing -shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman (Architecture), ideally with contractor experience in the construction industry.
Expertise in producing accurate shop drawings and as-built drawings for construction and manufacturing projects.
Expertise in preparing Blockwork Tiling Ceilings, Door, Details ,Curtain Walls and Documentation etc.
Ability to prepare and revise shop drawings at all stages of the project.
Capable of producing detailed as-built drawings based on completed installations, including any modifications made subsequently.
Proficient in CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit).
Strong knowledge of building codes, design principles, construction methods, and materials.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards in all drawings.
Create detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that drawings align with design intent, project specifications, and incorporate any design changes.
Keep thorough records of all project drawings and revisions.
Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM tools to develop and maintain accurate 2D and 3D models.
