The BYD Retail Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the performance of the BYD retail sales team across large-format showrooms and pop-up locations in Dubai. Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Executives to achieve individual and collective sales targets across showrooms and pop-up locations.
Monitor daily sales performance indicators including leads, test drives, conversion ratios, and revenue achievement.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide structured feedback, and implement development plans to enhance team capability.
Ensure consistent delivery of a premium, customer-focused sales journey aligned with BYD brand values.
Handle escalated customer concerns and support the team in complex negotiations to secure successful outcomes.
Oversee day-to-day retail operations, ensuring showroom readiness, visual merchandising standards, and brand compliance.
Coordinate with marketing and events teams to support campaigns, product launches, and promotional activations.
Manage vehicle inventory, showroom displays, and test drive scheduling to support sales effectiveness.
Track sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends, providing insights and reports to senior management.
Collaborate closely with HR, training, product, aftersales, and delivery teams to ensure seamless customer handover and strong product knowledge across the team.
Ideal Profile
Minimum 8 years of sales experience, preferably within the mid-luxury or automotive retail sector.
At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Strong background in customer-facing sales with a proven ability to influence buying decisions.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, or Mandarin are an advantage.
Valid UAE driving license is required.
