Position Overview
Majid Al Futtaim LifeStyle is seeking a talented Buyer to join THAT Concept in Dubai. This role is focused on driving product assortment strategies that meet customer demand, boost profitability, and strengthen MAF LifeStyle's footprint in the region's luxury retail fashion market. The Buyer will play a key role in developing data-driven buying plans, negotiating supplier terms, and supporting cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional retail experiences across multiple categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement buying strategies that align with brand and organizational goals.
• Plan and manage seasonal product assortments to ensure balance between style, price, and customer preference.
• Monitor Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets and control spending by store and category.
• Analyze in-season performance and adjust strategies to optimize sales and margins.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while negotiating prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Partner with Planning, Logistics, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure effective stock flow and brand consistency.
• Leverage customer feedback, sales analytics, and market research to inform buying decisions.
• Support training sessions for store teams on new collections, trends, and product highlights.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a buying or merchandising position within fashion retail.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to interpret fashion trends and align product ranges with market expectations.
• Collaborative team player with initiative and a customer-first approach.
• Adaptable and motivated to innovate within a fast-paced retail environment.
