Location: Ajban, Abu Dhabi
Contract Duration: 6 months renewable
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or buying role, preferably within Automotive Industry, and experience in Procurement in Armoured vehicles please.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Job Objective:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, vendor management, and material management, with proficiency in SAP, Ariba, and supplier portals. The role involves managing the procurement process, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials. Experience in interpreting MRP results and reading Bills of Materials is essential.
Preferred Experience:

• Proven experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships.

• Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba) and advanced Excel skills

• Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.

• Experience in managing projects related to procurement and inventory management.

• Preferred knowledge about Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, including planning, scheduling, and managing inventory levels.

• Understanding of compliance, trade regulations, and industry standards relevant to procurement.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and negotiate effectively.
