What you will be doing:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

\xc2\xb7 To oversee the butler service, ensuring that all the hotel standards and procedures are fully known and followed.

\xc2\xb7 To ensure a proper coverage and supervision of the butler service at all times.

\xc2\xb7 To ensure appropriate stock level for the smooth run of the butler operations and to prepare requisitions accordingly.

\xc2\xb7 To ensure uncompromising levels of cleanliness and maintenance through each employee\xe2\x80\x99s responsibility.

\xc2\xb7 To use the proper telephone etiquette as per Rixos standards.

\xc2\xb7 To assist and to coordinate the daily activity with the Guest Services Manager.

\xc2\xb7 To be most of the time in the guest area to have contact with the guests and to socialize, playing a Public Relations role.

\xc2\xb7 To ensure that all guests enjoy their stay and receive the finest personal service.

\xc2\xb7 To personally greet and escort the guests rather than pointing out directions.

\xc2\xb7 To personally coordinate the guest arrivals (room block, room inspection, amenities, guest preferences) & welcome drinks and to assign rooms for each butler.

\xc2\xb7 To personally coordinate the guests departure (express check-out, packing needs) and to ensure that transportation and other travel requirements are professionally handled, to personally give VIP guests farewell, escorting them to the hotel door.

\xc2\xb7 To ensure that each room is checked after the guest\xe2\x80\x99s departure and the \xe2\x80\x9cLost & Found\xe2\x80\x9d procedure is respected.

\xc2\xb7 To be fully aware of VIPs in house, to recognize them upon arrival and keep a good trace of them.

\xc2\xb7 To ensure that the Senior Management is aware of all VIP arrivals.

\xc2\xb7 To have a perfect knowledge of guest\xe2\x80\x99s preferences. To ensure that all preferences and requests are well responded with every visit.

\xc2\xb7 To ensure daily that the guest history is updated and the \xe2\x80\x9clikes\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cdislikes\xe2\x80\x9d are mentioned.

\xc2\xb7 To ensure that the privacy of the guests and the confidentiality of the information is respected.

\xc2\xb7 To act as a representative of the Management when dealing with guest complaints or if a member of the butler team is facing difficulties that she/ he cannot solve on her/ his own.

\xc2\xb7 To manage any guest complaint in a professional manner, by owning it, resolving it to the guest satisfaction and recording it.

\xc2\xb7 To call the Guest Service Manager, FOM or the HM/GM for advice in serious cases or if an approval is required.

\xc2\xb7 To be fully aware of and to report all guest comments or complaints.

\xc2\xb7 To daily review the butlers\xe2\x80\x99 logbook and to sign it. To personally update the activity reports.

\xc2\xb7 To offer assistance at any time in the operations and to monitor, highlight and suggest improvements on any dysfunction.

\xc2\xb7 To conduct a daily line up briefing with each shift of the butler team to recapitulate tasks and activity.

Your experience and skills include:

\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
