Job Description

The Business Systems Controller will support implementation and govern business intelligence & dashboard/reporting solutions for dnata Shared Services. They will participate in the improvement of the insight provided by reporting and business intelligence to drive action and improve operational performance. This requires extensive experience in understanding Contact Centre operations and support functions, BI technologies & capabilities and analytical techniques
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the development of Business Intelligence systems by providing the functional requirements and their prioritisation to support the continuously improving business processes for dnata Shared Services
- Work in liaison with the centralized dnata Business Intelligence team and all relevant user stakeholders, to review, analyse and evaluate data requirements, ensuring that they accurately reflect business user needs
- Act as subject matter expert in executing the strategy to improve the use of business intelligence and analytical solutions within dnata Shared Services, to better support operational activities. Innovate by applying new & existing technologies and analytical techniques to develop BI capabilities beyond best practice, inspiring the business with improved insight and speed to market with solutions
- Develop and leverage relationships with stakeholders to define & deliver solutions to agreed timelines and costs
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver our mission, demonstrate passion for the business and achieve performance goals
- Provide all users with in-depth system user expertise, guidance and assistance to promote and maximise system usage, functionality and business productivity
- Provide advanced insight into improved methods to analyse and present information to drive action. Analysis of information using various statistical methods, trying to understand patterns in data and possibly suggest conclusions. Ability to develop a prototype solution to prove concepts
- Utilise existing technologies (SQL, Power BI, MS Access, MS Excel) to deliver intelligence

Qualifications

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in report development, data modelling and business intelligence using tools such as MS Access, MS Excel, Power BI, SQL
• Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
• Experience in a Multi-channel contact centre environment is an asset
