Business Partner | Chief Financial Officer (CFO) We are a leading Property Development Group that is diversifying into acquiring multiple businesses. We are seeking to rapidly acquire several independent firms within the professional services sector throughout the world and then branch out to acquire several other well-established businesses that align with various sectors within our group. Including building some very sophisticated tech to streamline efficiencies, and proficiencies to ultimately increase productivity across the board. This is a partnership position; and we only operate in the millions and billions. So, your mindset must be very comfortable in this environment. We are looking for someone who has had enough of the mundaneness of accountancy. Someone, who is ready to take a risk (which is completely against the accountancy norm), wants to cash in on their experience and resources and become an intrapreneur, to be part owner of something greater than they could ever own themselves. Please be aware that this is not an employment contract, you will be entering into a business partnership (ownership) and will be remunerated as such. If you are not ready to take such a leap, then please do not apply. Therefore, before any offer is made you will be given a live test of which will be to secure funding north of \xc2\xa35m to cover the land acquisition and outline planning of a development in the Somerset area UK in the Over 55\xe2\x80\x99s property sector. There will be NO financial input (equity) offered from us. So, the funding must be secured entirely from your own resources and abilities on a standalone basis. To reiterate, there will be no financials or resources provided for this test by us, no A&L\xe2\x80\x99s nothing. As this would totally negate the purpose and intent of this test. Can you do this? There are multiple ways to do this, below are just 3 examples: Traditional \xe2\x80\x93 bringing in equity partners, investors, bank instruments, creative investment structures and so on... Partnerships \xe2\x80\x93 approaching companies or institutions that benefit from our business and establishing workable financial partnerships, with ones that share similar values and work ethics. Mergers & Acquisitions \xe2\x80\x93 acquiring successful unrelated businesses through merger partnerships, and conventional funding, to establish relatability, thus significant growth opportunities. We also welcome you to be creative and come up with an idea of your own. The reason for this live test is this will be your primarily role, to raise or organise funds through many related entities for all business acquisitions (Globally) and or property developments within the group. Can you do this? Other Sectors of Responsibility: You will be the Principal Accountant of the entire group and be fully responsible and accountable for all accounting, commercial finance, business strategy, and legislative and compliance-related issues thereof. As we are an international group it is expected of you to know multiple ways to minimise tax liabilities across all sectors of the group. You will forensically evaluate the financial health of all businesses we acquire and recommend strategies that will improve each business\xe2\x80\x99s financial health. You will also be the licensee of all UK FCA regulations needed to perform any part of our group\xe2\x80\x99s activities. One example is to set up and establish our own SSAS pension scheme provider including all legislative, compliance and regulatory requirements and to manage multiple company pensions and actively promote investments in other sectors of our group. This is a life-changing position, so it is imperative that you have already reached the highest possible corporate level within the industry and have had enough of the mundaneness of that position and are truly driven now to become an Intrapreneur. Your Skills and Experience You are a fully qualified accountant with a highly commercial mindset, able to think outside the box. You will be forensically diligent and meticulous by nature, which is crucial, and you must have the ability to look through the lens of an entrepreneur, be strategically opportunistic, analyse financial data and instinctively know ways, systems, processes, strategies to dramatically improve the data. You must be the complete package, intimately know the exact financial status, identify all the deficiencies, and intuitively and strategically know how to remedy them all to bring them up to financial health and prosperity. You will be resourceful and skilled in creative funding for commercial finance purposes, especially within the property and general SME business industries. To intimately know how to financially structure each project that meets the necessary lending criteria of industry lenders. Prepare and present all needed financials and cashflows for approval. You will strategically employ a team through your own resources to meet the needs of the business, taking care and attention to hire the right people at the right time.
